The Old Boathouse, on Jaw Reservoir in the Kilpatrick Hills.

Jaw Reservoir sits at the foot of Cochno Hill, a short hike into the Kilpatrick Hills from Faifly, near Glasgow.

A causeway connects the shore to an island in the middle of the reservoir, and separates Jaw Reservoir from Cochno Reservoir, which are, bar the causeway, pretty much the same body of water.

This old boathouse sits at the western end of the causeway. It looks as though it might collapse at any minute. At one time, boats were available for hire for private fishing, but I suspect that this is no longer case.
