Preston Mill is a Category A listed watermill on the River Tyne at East Linton, in East Lothian. It dates from the 1700s, when it was used to turn grain into animal feed for the nearby Smeaton Estate. It was used commercially to produce oatmeal until 1959, when it was passed to the National Trust for Scotland, who worked with Rank Hovis McDougall to renovate the mill and return it to operation again.
In June 2014, fencing, signage, gates and other aspects of 21st century life were removed and the mill was returned to its 18th century condition, when it became the location of Lallybroch Mill in the first season of time-travel TV series Outlander.
