Here it is viewed from the eastern approach to Conic Hill, by Garadhban Forest, on the West Highland Way.The hill dominates much of the initial stretch of the route from Carbeth, just north of Milngavie, right up until the trail crosses the Highland Boundary Fault at Conic Hill.
