Linlithgow Cross and Town House by Night

This picture of Linlithgow Cross and Town House by Night is for sale.

It comes as a canvas (from £50.00), or an unframed print (from £1.20).

Why not take a look at my other pictures of West Lothian.
This is Linlithgow Cross, a replica of an original well erected in front of Linlithgow Palace by King James V in 1520. These days the Cross is separated from the Palace by Linlithgow's Town House, built in 1668.

The replica of the Cross was carved in 1805 by stonemason Robert Gray. Gray had lost one hand in an accident some years earlier, and he worked with a mallet fixed to his arm.
